Can having diahrhea affect the levelsof medications in your body?

Yesterday, last night, and today I have had several bowel movements after being constipated for several days and I take 25 mg of Elavil and 5 mg of buspar 2 x a day and I have had a lot of anxiety, depression, and nocturnal panic attacks and I was wondering if having diahrhea made me metabolize the antidepressants too quickly so that is why I had an increase in anxiety yesterday and today?  Sorry if this is too gross!
