Kindled 5-6 times and healed?

If so I desperately need to hear from you. I was healed three years this summer and then thrown back in by dental work, stress, lidocaine. Now my life is nearly over and feeling no hope. By the time I healed I had been on and off benzos several times over the years but only the last one caused withdrawal

I'm sorry you're going through this (you're back on benzos now, I think? - if so, please update your signature), but I've also had multiple withdrawals, and yes, they have gotten worse and worse each time.  I am now healed at nearly three years off Xanax, but my healing took over two years. My very first withdrawal 10 years ago was easy! I think the lesson for those of us who have kindled is an obvious one: and that is once off, stay off.

I was healed and it was so hard. Now my brain is just given up. There is no hope. DR, hallucinations, delusions, loss if touch with reality constantly, totally don't care about the people I love--all started with dental work this summer them downhill from there and now on the poison I said I would die before is take again and can't take another second of the horror. Tapering off and it's horrid and there's no hope if healing the damage that occurred

I went through three horrific cold turkey withdrawal and kindled horribly. I am one year out and completely healed. However, if you would have told me that I would heal a year ago I never would have believed it.

I was still very sick past 21 days.  That is when the hallucinating stopped. Three weeks of hallucinating curled up in a ball in your corner is sheer mental torment. My guess is the hallucinating was from kindling. Severe mental symptoms lasted several months.
