Restoril taper support

I am posting for my friend who has been taking Restoril since the passing of his spouse 10 months ago.  He has experienced tremors, sleepless nights while topped out on 30mg/night, fried adrenals and has cleaned himself of sugar, caffeine, alcohol.  He is currently seeing a naturopath and is supplementing his tapered 15mg dose amount.  I am helping him find support and success stories of those who lived this journey.  He is wanting the information, but not the negative stories.  Thank you for your help.

Hello landsoh.  Welcome to the forum, we're glad you found us!  Your friend is lucky to have your support.  We generally recommend a taper rate of about 5-10% every 10-14 days, though individual rates vary.  Here are a few links you may find useful:
