hiccups?

Lately I get hiccups so much.  And not just after I eat... what is this?

I have been getting them too but I have also been gasey and burping. I think that may cause it but not for sure. Is it the kind of hiccups that are hard to go away or just every now and then?

i've gotten a strong case of the hiccups only 3 times during this whole 28 months. and they last forever. like a whole hour. i have wondered what this is too?

They don't last too often but are very strong and forceful.  I've almost puked a few times from the force.  I'm also taking protonix but I've taken that for years with no issue.
