Yes I've only been on it 4mths but he said its fine. I told him I did not want to CT. He laughed. So the only option he gave me was Wellbutrin XL 150 every other day for two weeks and then a scrip for Wellbutrin IR 75 everyday for two weeks. Any opinions on this would be appreciated. Thank you!

What was your start dose? I cut back to half for two weeks and then went to 1/4 for two weeks. Its not addicting but its still a drug. I hope this helps.

I was on wellbutrin for a almost half a year several years ago, but I don't remember what going off it was like. It wasn't as bad as coming off an SSRI, and isn't what I'm experiencing with klonopin, that much is certain. here's some stuff for you:

http://www.nami.org/Template.cfm?Section=About_Medications&template=/ContentManagement/ContentDisplay.cfm&ContentID=7388

"Stopping bupropion abruptly may result in one or more of the following withdrawal symptoms: irritability, nausea, feeling dizzy, vomiting, nightmares, headache, and/or paresthesias (prickling, tingling sensation on the skin)."

http://www.health.harvard.edu/newsletters/Harvard_Womens_Health_Watch/2010/November/going-off-antidepressants

"Among the newer antidepressants, those that influence the serotonin system — selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs, now commonly known as SRIs) and serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (SNRIs) — are associated with a number of withdrawal symptoms, often called antidepressant or SRI discontinuation syndrome. Stopping antidepressants such as bupropion (Wellbutrin) that do not affect serotonin systems — dopamine and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors — seems less troublesome over all, although some patients develop extreme irritability."
