You should talk to LookingForward. I BELIEVE she suffered from depression due to the benzos and healed from that about 6 months after her taper.

Hi, Dolphins, I suffered from depression almost the whole time I was on Klonopin (3 years), it just kept getting deeper and deeper. It was one of my worst symptoms during taper. I had 2 wonderful depression free weeks after jump, then 2 months when it wasn't too severe, but it came back with a vengeance and continues to plague me. I've read some of your posts and it seems that the mental torture you're going through is very similar to mine. I'm barely holding on myself. I wish I could help you.

 

Yeah, IIRC, LookingForward had depression for decades on benzos, and she's completely depression free now
