Hello all,

 

After a little bit of a break, I've come back to see how some of my buddies are doing.

 

My story in short:

After an allergic reaction to contrast dye in an MRI, I was misdiagnosed and got prescribed Ativan, up to 4 mgr, in August 2013.

Looking back, the dye caused my thyroid and adrenals to go out of whack, giving me cortisol and adrenaline rushes. Mistaken for panic and/or anxiety disorder.

I crossed over to 15 mgr Valium somewhere around February/march 2014.

Currently I am at 6.95 mgr Valium, following a daily taper with compound liquid Valium solution.

 

Hoping to catch up with some friends here, support people and share my troubles down this crazy road.

well welcome back Moo, hope you are doing well with LT. you are now ahead of me in the taper...no fair

 

I am still ticking away every 2 weeks at .5mgs except I tried a 4 week hold and it did absolutely nothing for me

 

 

so lets keep in touch and we should be off this garbage sometime next year....can you believe that its been a year of this? UGHHHHHHHH
