Stress test stress...

So, chest pains off and on last 4-6 weeks moving to left arm and jaw. Some nausea. Episodes evolved over stress( some real, most probably imagined or manufactured). Have a friend c/t ing from K who has frequent chest issues( pain, feelings of insufflation, vibration), so I initially bagged mine as w/d and ignored it. Finally went in to an ER( driving yerself is a BAD idea), and the work-up led to a stress test. I take a beta blocker, so the treadmill didn't produce the desired rapid heart rate. NEXT?  Chemicals to stimulate...by all that's holey in my underwear drawer, the first med(IV) didn't do much of any thing. The second, atropine, ramped me so bad I was having a friend go online to see if maybe a one-time dose of ambien would be ok...was released from the ER  and began to actively hallucinate on darker stretches of travel, mouth like sand, stopping frequently to lasso my squirrel cage..when I got home and the house came out to greet me, finally opted to take 3mg melatonin. Text raved with a friend, slept most of the next 3 hours, and have been buzzing most of the day. Tinnitus has taken on a whole new meaning, and I'm thinking more melatonin...any words of wisdom out there?  mike

Update is that I'm taking 1.5 of melatonin now...sleep for an hour, up for an hour, repeat cycle, then just up. Feel like a Roman candle with a sputtering fuse, but no more hallucinations
