Does it seem like a problem associated with benzos? I have pimple-like, itchy and painful bumps all over my scalp.

I have seen a dermatologist to no avail. I've talked to my family practitioner a hundred times but he hasn't helped.

 

Last night I was so crazy itching that I cut all my hair off. I mean, I went from shoulder length to one inch long.

My skin on my scalp, face, neck and back is really greasy. Nasty greasy.

 

I also take Gaba and Citalopram.

Your doc has not considered sebhorreic dermatitis? Sounds like it. I have this, with bumps at hair line. Rest of scalp irritated. Greasy flaking. Gross. Not hygiene issue but helps to keep scalp clean. Supposed to be fungal, so some anti-fungal shampoos and creams are supposed to help. I just keep shampooing. But until Benzo withdrawal is over, I think it's gonna be a real challenge.
