Is it psychosis?

If you have to ask this, you don't have psychosis. People that are psychotic are not aware of it!

That's not necessarily true. Maybe not at first but when we go to doctors and get examined or just read about psychosis, we usually do become aware of our issues.

dolphins1, you're probably just feeling the same withdrawal side effects that everyone goes through. I feel like if you didn't already have psychosis before going into withdrawal or taking your benzo, it's not going to suddenly give you it. But if someone gets depressed enough they can develop a temporary psychosis. I think depression is the key thing to work on combatting. Don't let your withdrawal symptoms drown everything. Everything will pass with time.

You can have psychotic type episodes.  Some weird vision and hearing distortions are listed in the Ashton manual.  Bats sitting on a person's shoulder, etc. noted in Ashton writings.  Bugs crawling on/under skin.  That crap happened to me early off, but not now.  Hearing voices in fans, motors, etc.  Didn't happen to me, but others talked about it on this forum.

Bugs crawling under skin feeling isn't psychosis, I think it's physiological.
