13 months off and still suffering

Hi everyone. I'm at my 13th month being benzo free. Some improvement has happened for sure, but I still have bad symptoms.  Insomnia, bad headaches, middle of the night anxiety and night sweats. I'm so sad about this and so discouraged.  Vertigo has now become a daily problem and it had completely disappeared a few months ago. I'm pretty miserable again and thought this holiday season would be better. So sorry to complain but I'm just heartbroken. Could use some encouragement.  PG

I too am in month 13. I've been in a bad wave for about a month. I also had a terrible wave around 10 months. My current sxs include terrible dizziness, cortisol/panic surges, twitches (especially inside my ear...so freaky), insomnia, and derealization.  I too hoped for this holiday season to be better. In fact I thought I would be near healed by this time. It's hard to accept these waves in the later months. It seems impossible that they could still be this bad. Anyways...I don't want to make you feel worse. I'm hoping that this wave will lift soon and we will be in a window for the dec holiday season. Wouldn't that be nice? I hope the new year brings us big improvements and perhaps the window that doesn't close. I try to remember how good I feel during windows. Do you experience good windows?

Hi Esther. Thank you so much for your reply. I'm sorry you are having trouble this far out too. Yes, ive had some good windows as well, so I try to be optimistic, but since we are so far out, I get real discouraged with waves now. I think this wave is about a month old, and like you, the dizziness is bad as well as insomnia and headaches.  Thanks for the encouragement and here's hoping for an everlasting window for us SOON!
