Hi Oostende  Welcome to Benzobuddies

Your symptoms are common in benzodiazepine use/withdrawal. I was on  Valium and suffered tinnitus and burning feet.  Are you looking to taper of the Rivotril (clonazepam).  Check out the  Ashton Manual , it is an excellent resource for information about these medications and gives a lot of information about withdrawal/tapering.

Here is a link to the manual: Ashton Manual

A slow taper can help minimize withdrawal effects.  It is generally recommended to taper no more than 5-10% every 10-14 days.  This is a guideline and it is ok to adjust this schedule for  your own comfort.

We have a great community here of knowledgeable and friendly people who understand this process.  They will be willing to share their experience with you.  Feel free to ask questions so that members can respond

Oostende,

I am taking the same drug (Rivotril or Klonopin or Clonazepam), side effects are intense as the dose goes higher.  I feel good when I take high dosage many months ago, but in the morning I feel terrible (emotionally).  I am doing direct tapering.  Withdrawal symptoms are less, and less intense but brain is very sensitive.  Withdrawal symptoms can be debilitating also even at 0.3125 mg (the dosage I reached now in my tapering).  I am holding at 0.3125 mg until I feel good and until my problem in my job is solved.

I believe you should take care also with other aspects of your life, to minimize or eliminate stressors.  I have some difficulty in my first attempts of tapering, until I was able to go with it smoothly.
