I wish this could be a success story, but instead its just a milestone post. Things have gotten better, and other things have gotten worse. My benzo symptoms are rather unique in that I never know what to expect day to day. Here are some improvements:

1) Haven't had a panic attack in nearly 2 months

2) Sleeping 7-9 hours a night.

3) I don't feel anxious anymore unless something major pops up.

4) I have accomplished good things despite the crippling agoraphobia. I visited a pdoc that acknowledged benzo withdrawal and even moved!

5) I have had some evenings where I feel 98-100%.

6) The breathing issues, until yesterday, had let up significantly. It was still a little labored, but nowhere near as bad as 2 weeks ago.

7) I no longer wake up in a panic or feel morning terror.

8) I may not be sensitive to stress??

Here is what I'm dealing with (Depends on the day):

Minor anxiety

Depression (Severe to mild)

DR

Minor ocd

Minimal fear

Heart palps/rapid heart racing

I've come a long way since I had to pace the old apartment for hours on end. But I feel like there is still much room for improvement. If the breathing issues would go away entirely and the DR wasn't intense, I could work on the agoraphobia.

I'm hoping the next 100 days are the road to healing. This is just getting a bit old and my withdrawal is really not that bad compared to others. There have been times I have seen the light at the end of the tunnel only to get blown further back in.

I'm hoping that my constant symptom swapping is a sign that I have the genetics to get over this quickly.

Oh, and to any other users that cold turkeyed, I don't recommend it, but its doable. There were many times I thought I was dying and im still here. You will be too. I promise. Unless you were long term and on a high dose. Then you risk seizures. Can't guarantee you will survive that.

Way to go Orion.....I've read a lot of yor posts, I like your no bullshit honesty and your positive spin on all this garbage. Yes, it's hard....but it's also doable.

I look forward to reading about your progress and recovery  :smitten:

Thanks for keeping it real.

Thanks! Doesn't feel like it today, but the past few days have been pretty good. So that's promising. The stronger the wave, the better the healing.
