Xanax and head pressure/pain

For those of you who are or have tapered off Xanax and endured terrible head pain did it resolve at any point? When did it resolve? How long after the jump? I need a possible time frame of when it will resolve so I have some hope!!

Head pressure is a known problem in benzo withdrawal.  My own experience was a sort of migraine.  You may get some relief by following some of the steps which migraine sufferers take.  In my own case, I didn't get relief from any of the supplements often suggested for benzo withdrawal.

I have a ton of pressure behind my eyes. I'm at 5 months out and it's coming and going more now. I'm getting breaks, especially in the afternoon / evening.

When the head pressure leaves, my memory and cognitive functioning and eye sight all improve. It seems oddly to be connected to the waves of fatigue I get. When the head pressure leaves, other s/x seem to leave, as well. At least that's been the pattern for me.

Im about 11 weeks off xanax . I am feeling the head pressure and pain since January 2014 but I feel I was in interdose or tolerance withdrawal at that point. I have desperate nerve pain since January also. At 11 weeks I think the head pressure isn't as bad but the nerve pain.... oh myyyy :-[

For me, for the nerve pain , I am on a Lioderm patch ( Lignocaine). It has helped the nerve pain in my back, leg and feet a good bit and maybe in turn, my head pressure is not as bad. Some days are worse than others.

I see that you also are suffering from terrible nerve pain .?  I know how bad it can be

I had horrible head pressure while I was in a tolerance withdrawal. It was so painful. It went away once I was off benzodiazepines. I know how awful it is, but it will resolve itself.

nerve pain?? All I know is its benzo wd...that encompasses pretty much any syx for any disease a person could endure.  I am glad to hear the pressure is better now that you are off Xanax!! Thanks!! I haven't had the head pain and jaw pain until about 3 weeks ago. So it is hitting me at the very end of my taper. I had the head pain while in tol too but once I switched my dosing to 4xday that subsided...I had a lot of other pain though to endure during this taper. I was hoping I wouldn't have to endure added crap on top of crap!
