Derealization and Depersonalization

Hello Everybody,

 

I have a friend suffering from Derealization and Depersonalization.  It was possibly caused by psychotropic drugs

(12 kinds of drugs - ANTIPSYCHOTIC, ANTIDEPRESSANT AND BENZOS).

 

Is it possible that Derealization is caused by drugs?  Derealization is everyday.

 

We will appreciate experience, related cases and treatments.

I thought it was more caused by going off certain meds too fast.

 

I had it after c/t valium, and c/t fentanyl, (both c/t at the same time) a couple of years ago.

 

Others will chime in, I'm sure.

Hi Disney, my friend did 2 C/T.  Maybe that is the reason of DR.  How did you cure your DR?

I didn't cure the D/R.  It just eventually went away.  I think with time and healing, your friend's D/R will clear up on it's own.

Thank you Disney, my friend's DR is like a ghost, it comes back without warning.
