I have slept 8hrs last night and 7hrs the night before.

I am getting really paranoid. Afriad I am going to stab someone. Thinking of packing a bag, ditching the rest of my stuff and leaving this place, maybe leaving the country.

Yeah they're called intrusive thoughts, horrible thoughts will pop into your head from time to time, usually bad ones - I had the one about stabbing people too. Try not to dwell on them too much, the anxiety is making you think you might carry these thoughts out but you won't :)

No I guess I wouldn't stab anyone. I might get verbally angry, make threats, phone calls and alienate people.

It is hard to distract from this.

Are you aware of the 'black box' warnings about anti-psychotics?  Stelazine is one of them...your poor brain has been put thru the wringer with the drugs that were (ironically) suppose to 'help' you.  It isn't you, it's the drugs...it will take some time to get your brain back; things will resolve themselves but it does take patience and an inordinate amount of time.

Is there a place where you can go and just scream?  Or maybe try breaking some junk plates/pottery?

Do you have someone you can be with and talk to?  Someone who will just let you be?  You might research warm-lines in your area; be careful what you say.  Look for a peer-run one...

Just my thoughts and things that have helped me when I experienced the fabled benzo-rage...let us know how it goes...it will pass, really!

Cookienose, thanks for your reply. I have calmed down now.

My mother was able to drive me (while I vented a bit) to a pharmacy that had some generic trifluoperazine on the shelf, although it is still unavailable in pill form until Jan soonest. It may be available in liquid form before then. This buys me time and I'm going to start reducing. Hopefully I will get more and be able to taper at a slower rate.

I don't think we have warm-lines here, I'm in the UK. I hadn't heard of it before.

I have been offered some support from an Autism charity in another town, hoping to visit their drop-in on Monday. It will get me out of myself.
