Vision problems (distortions, fuzzy, visual snow.) Feel I'm going crazy, help.

Hi, I'm on month 18 and although I'm doing a bit better, most of my symptoms are not terribly distressing..However, I've been experiencing a resurgence in perceptual distortions (which where almost gone this summer) such as an increase in visual snow (grainy vision at night.) In very bright environments, say a white wall it sort of looks off, blotchy and wavy edges and not static...can't really explain it. I can see the outline of someone really vividly...don't know if that makes sense...

 

I'm trying to place my finger on the reason. I'm quite scared as I'm convincing myself I'm going mad or something or becoming a schizophrenic... Is it possible for a cold or virus to bring back some old symptoms from the past? What could be the reason for symptoms of the past to show their face again? I took some NSAID prescription pills around the time my symptoms started to resurface...

 

So, what could it be and how long for them to resolve. Has anyone faced the same thing. Please help, I appreciate it. Thanks.

Hey, I saw an eye doc today, everything checks out. My eyes are perfectly healthy. I told my optometrist about my issues and he just can't account for my perceptual disturbances. He put me through every test imaginable.
