Anyone ever read his books or watch his videos on YouTube? He is a psychiatrist who talks about the dangers of psychiatric drugs. When I hear him talk about the permanent damage they can do I get very scared.

I've heard of him, but like you, it terrifies me to think of permanent damage. I'm not sure there's actual proof, but I haven't read his book.

 

Is anyone doing studies on benzodiazepine withdrawal? I've only found one that follows people for one year after the last dose of medication. There wasn't anything in that study about "permanent" damage. On the contrary, many people's symptoms were fading by the end of the one-year period. Others still had some lingering symptoms.

 

I'll be interested to hear what others have to say -- especially if they've read his latest book. In the meantime, I'm trying to stay positive and rely on first-hand reports, e.g. BB Success Stories, about  how well people feel when they get to the end of the journey.
