I'm just wondering how long you guys stayed dizzy for and if its normal for WD? Every time I shower or do too much I feel dizzy. Its been since June. Just wondering if this will end soon.

Unfortunately dizziness is not that uncommon in withdrawal. I had it horribly when I was in a tolerance withdrawal. It was very vertigo like for me. Now that I am off of benzodiazepines I no longer have it. Remember as awful withdrawal symptoms are they are only temporary. I am hoping that your dizziness is not all the time. Did you have it prior to you withdrawal?

I used to get dizzy every now and then but it felt different. I know that is hard to understand. Before, when it happened, I would lie down for a few minutes and then be ok. Now, when it happens, Im done for the rest of the day. It happens alot more often now also. It feels kind of chemical related. I will have a weird feeling then Im dizzy. Im just entirely ready for all of these symptoms to be gone. I started my Lexapro back and the dp/dr is mostly gone..thank god. Maybe I am just too impatient. I want to get back to being the normal "me" and it just seems to be taking forever. Also, Im sorry but could someone please explain to me what tolerance wd is?

I had it mostly the first 2 months of my WD. Its not a "normal" kind of dizziness. Its a very different feeling maybe vertigo would be more accurate
