Klonopin & Urinalysis

So I had a very bizarre experience at the doctor's office a week or so ago...

 

I was given a urine test as they suspected I was selling my Klonopin (because I couldn't get off of it in fifteen days and asked for more) and wanted to see if I was doing any illegal street drugs. I thought it was ridiculous and I probably could have fought them on it but I just wanted to get my script filled and get home.

 

When the test came back, I was clean for everything. Now that's normal for me, as I don't do any drugs - the problem being it showed up negative for benzodiazepines, as well. I've been taking Klonopin everyday for just over a year now. I can't believe it, and now my doctor is even more suspicious of me. I wonder if I just process this stuff really quickly and the normal half-life doesn't apply in my case?
