Anyone have strange stuff happen as you're falling asleep?

I don't know why, but I get a lot of symptoms upwelling when I lie down to go to sleep, and as I'm falling asleep.  The majority of it seems to involve different kinds of pain that I don't experience during the rest of the day.  There's a strange, body-wide pain that usually pulses through a couple of times and brings me out of sleep as I'm dozing.  It's hard to describe, but it kind of flashes through me, or sometimes feels like a dimmer switch has been very quickly turned up high, and then turns right back down.  I also get random sharp or stinging pains at different spots in my body.  My throat also gets sore and scratchy, and it usually cough myself awake once or twice.  (Not an allergic thing, as I've had it in different locales.). Although my palpitations and heart pain are mostly gone, they return occasionally just in this brief window.  I can't remember if anything else happens, these are the main things.  Anyone else?

Hi, i had it very bad after my detox, now still get a mild version of it.

If i get it right, you had to reinstate after being 4 months  off. it must be the kindling effect

you are experiencing, which means after being off the drug and going back on has made

your nervous system hypersensitised.

 

No fun is it ? but its part of this nasty Benzo- game......wish you good luck with your taper.

Hi Morreweg, thank you for responding!  So,you had something like it, too?  I'm glad at least it's milder for you now.  Yes, I had to go back on a benzo, I feel sad about it but at least I know it was my only option when the experimental drug got ahold of my body and all I could think about was the quickest way to get out of my body.  I guess it might be kindling?  I haven't even looked up what that's about because it sounds like a very bad thing.  I did have this stuff going on before I reinstated, I've had it since the beginning, I think.  Ugh.  Anyway, thanks for taking the time to leave a message.
