Can rapid W/D cause folliculitis?

As if this were not enough, I seem to have inexplicably (I say this because I am fanatically clean) come down with a bad case of folliculitis on my chest. It's been around now for about a month, and it just so happened to spring up when I adjusted my taper to a much more rapid schedule. Has anyone else had this? I'm very much a type-A individual, so it could just be stress, but I have a feeling it's more likely the Klonopin.

Yes, after I finished with the valium I developed some sort of acne in my back and arms, some of them red spots filled with pus. Never had acne in my back like this.

Yes I  got them all over, but mostly on my scalp, it was so horrifying!  I'm Type A when it comes to cleanliness, but my body didn't care. I've had boils, sores, folliculitis, lumps, bumps, eczema, & things I don't even know what they are!?!  Never had this crap before, hardly even any zits in my life.  It's getting better, but still have weird stuff on my face and scalp when I'm flaring, and tons of acne at my age, UGH!

For 3 months I had these particle of sand type things come out with a scrape of my fingernail on the side of my face by eyes.  Blech!  I cannot imagine the poison in my body for it to be expelling this stuff.  *hurl*    I know it made me sick, I was close to death a few times.  Nine years of this stuff about did me in!

I know what you mean, I can barely wear makeup, especially foundation, my skin is flaking off so bad.  Although this week the "leathery feel" has eased up thankfully!  My scalp dandruff isn't as bad either.  I never had dandruff before this!
