Hello Buddies

I hope you all healing well

I have a question. I am having a rough year so far. Although i gradually tapered in Sept and jumped on 9/26 (today is one month celebration, yeeey) I think i have experienced an extreme w/d at the beginning of the year. Sxs set looked  like c/t. At the end of last year my pdoc switched me from 0.5 mg alpazolam (xanax) to 5 mg clorazepate (tranxene). I did a math (unfortunatelly after 8 months of struggle) and it looks to me like a 70% drop in efficiacy.

After i jumped a month ago i still feel really bad but it is still better than first six months of the year. All that time i was on 5mg of traxene (equals 3.33 mg of diazepam) til the 1.25 mg weekly taper and jump.

Was it possible that i was having so terrible w/d while still on benzo? Is it possible that i feel ,very little but still, better after the jump than after the crazy efficiacy drop?

I think i hit the tollerance for 0.5 xanax in dec too

What do you think?

Good healing

I am sorry you are feeling badly. I am glad to read that you are feeling better than when you were in a tolerance withdrawal. I think that is a great sign of healing. Remember, as unpleasant as symptoms are they are only temporary.
