Why Roche temorarily stopped production of Klonopin

Hi:

I spoke with the medical dept at Genentech, which owns Hoffman-La Roche. They said they were forced to stop production by the FDA because of "regulatory compliance issues that the drug required to produce Klonopin." They said they will ship the drug on Oct. 29, to their distributors overnight who will then distribute the drug to the pharmacies. From the horse's mouth. Bets

Thanks.

I remember making a thread on this about 6 months ago when I had to switch from brand name(Roche) to a generic, after being on brand name for 5 years. I was worried sick; Roche's pills are a good deal more potent than generics.

However, switching to the TEVA generic wasn't as bad as I initially thought it would be. So even though Roche will be available again soon, and I do think it works better, I'm not going to switch back to it. It's too damn expensive. 190$ every month for Roche, vs 5$ every month for TEVA.

Wow Ntt:

What a drastic change in prices. Since I am on disability, and the State of CT gives me "extra help" with script costs, it costs me $2.55 for generic and $6 for brand name. Glad I am DISABLED!!!! Or I'd be money disabled.  :smitten: Bets
