Six months free today!

I jumped six months ago.  It has not been easy but I am putting more time between me and the drug every day.  I wish it was a straight line in healing but it's not.  I was doing okay and had a scary setback yesterday.  Today I am climbing out of the hole and looking forward to the nine month mark.

Things I have very little of now

Spasms

nightmares

nasuea

intense muscle pain

numbness

tics

Wtihdrawal from drug during taper

Head pressure/ sinus stuff

Racing heart

Breathing issues

Things I have that are less but still bothersome

Headaches

Nerve pain

off balance

DR

Anxiety/Panic-get lots of adrenaline surges in phases.  Luckily not here now.  Usually accompanied by head pressure.

Wierd body vibrations/sensations

Vision problems

Health anxiety

Leaving my safe places for extended periods

Fatigue/complete exhaustion

Cog fog

Emotions are coming back

Things I can do almost normally

Drive on freeway and over bridges :D

I am sure I left some things off but this is what I can recall.  It has been brutal but I have no choice but to believe the others ahead of me that I will heal and I won't be some weird outlier.

Thx to BB because without it none of this would have been possible.

Is today 6 months??? Well shiver me timbers! I thought it was Sunday! Happy 6 months to you! I need to celebrate too! LOL! You're an inspiration to me Drew...especially how you are able to travel and what not. I will get back to that once the head stuff subsides and my balance is back.

Congrats my jumping buddy! Onward and upward to month 7!

Wouldn't 36 weeks be closer to nine months? 26 weeks is six months.

LOL...36 weeks is close to 9 months! I remember having my son at 39 weeks. Oh Drew...lets recalculate!

Early celebration sounds good to me!!  So, SOOOO glad to know you buddy.  I absolutely LOVE having "running buddies" to do this thing with!!  It motivates the fool outta me to see another buddy get his/her fanny out there and DO, despite how he/she feels!  Thank you for DOING, buddy -- it keeps me fresh, and it keeps me stretching for more!!

You rock!  HEALING IS OURS FOR THE TAKING!! :highfive:

Drew & LM, congrats on your 6 month early party, hey at least you didn't go past it then remember!  HAH!  ;)

Thanks for listing your sx's by severity.  I'm 4.5 months off this Sunday, so inspiring to see what has lessened in severity.  My muscle cramps and nerve pain were the worst, they are easing a bit, but not enough for my liking.  I had to laugh about driving on the freeway and over bridges.  I drove across town today for an apt., and when I got to where I was going I was shaking like a leaf.   I still don't trust myself much behind the wheel.  It's like vertigo I guess.  Moving stuff still freaks me out a bit, lol.

Congrats again! :thumbsup::clap:
