Inpatient

Buddies,

 

I continue to be very mentally unstable and despondent.  I called my doc and he wants me to go inpatient.

 

He says he would change my meds and give me a different antidepressant and a different antipsychotic.

 

I don't want different or more meds. I am very scared and feel like this is a no win.  Or a one way trip to the loony bin.

 

I am so scared and fear I am going to end up forever stuck in psychiatry.  What should I do?

you have not been doing well at home and on your present meds. I think inpatient is a excellent thing to do. I would listen to your doctor satch. You need more help than anyone of us can give.

Give it a try, you can always quit if you want to. This could be a really good thing for you.

Go inpatient, satch. You have everything to lose by NOT going in. Everyone wants you to feel better, and at this point, in patient is actually a blessing in disguise for you.
