Am I in benzo withdrawal almost 2 years ?

Hello All

I have joined looking for advice and answers to what is wrong with me ?

I took Lorazepam for 2 months and then tapered Diazepam for 3 months, I finished in December 2012 and since then I've never been right, I have had every test under medical science and nothing, every medic I've seen thinks I'm crazy if I think I'm still in withdrawal 22 months but I was fine before this and only took them due to a stressful move to tie me over.

My doctor said they would help keep me calm and they did but once fully moved I stopped but found I had to keep taking them as I felt too strange when I did not.

Since then I have lived in a different world and feel like I'm an alien from another world with no soul or personality..

The only thing that happen in my life is these pills so if I am healthy with all test could these pills still be making me feel dead and brain damaged after 22 months ??

I hope my answers will be found here as I know I'm not crazy but I sure do feel it..

I was very rich before these pills and come from a very connected background but since I have lost everything so now I am poor so something has happened in my brain since taking theses pills ??

Nice to meet you all

Thanks Guys

What board should I post on at my time off, I'm new here but have been reading the boards as a non member for awhile trying to figure out if I'm in benzo withdrawal or not !!!

Everything I've been through and everything I'm still going through is on here so it has to be withdrawal as everything else medical is fine..

You know even though I feel crazy with all the symptoms something deep down tells me I'm not! I was also assessed and they said I was not mental, I just thought I was, they said if I was truly mental I wouldn't be asking them if I was because I trully wouldn't know but other people would and everyone I know still thinks I look and talk the same but my mind is a battlefield of symptoms ?

Is this normal to feel mental but professionals say your not, I assumed if you thought you was mental that was enough to get you committed ? But they say the ones who are truly mental don't know they are and don't go asking to be assessed like I did, I've had no prior mental health issues until these pills so it must be the pills - right ??

Cheers

Benzo-wd can be so complex and mysterious, therefore there aren't many

Benzo-wise Doctors who have knowledge, sad but true.

don't worry, now that you have joined us you will learn a lot,

and YES i am convinced you are still in withdrawl (wd) and nothing else.
