Rapid tapping in left ear

Hello all ,

 

Has anyone experienced rapid tapping ( or thumping ) in their ears ?  I have had tinnitus since tapering but this is much worse.  It's so strange - it only starts after I come home from work at night - just about 6-7 pm when I am making dinner. About 4 beats per second

 

 

  I have to sleep with it all night and I goes away dueling my morning walk .  I guess it could be the tonic tensor tympani syndrome but am just curious if anyone else has experienced this ?

Yes u get it also...in my left ear too.

Do u have it all the time or does it go away during the day ?

I had that as well in left ear like it is coming from inside my neck  or base of skull

Yes..I get that too off and on in left ear also.  Like my eardrum membrane is thumping like a speaker .
