Things are improving. The waves are less intense. Still have some minor twitchings here and there and some spasms. Depression comes and goes. So does anxiety. But less intense. Sleep 6-8 hours. Don't wake up with terrible fear anymore. My right hand is almost back to normal. Numbness is gone. Speatch problems are gone. Muscles are coming back. My face is back to normal. I go out with friends and can read books again. I still get some dp, but I have days when I feel totally back to my old self again. When I get a wave I feel that everything is more difficult to do. It's like trying to run in a dream. The future feels overwhelming and I feel disconnected to my past and my life. But not as intense as before. I can have clear windows for several days and waves for only one or two. I will say that I'm 80 % healed. So for those of you who are suffering a lot; hang in there. It will get better. Couple of months ago I thought I was dying. Now I'm learning to live again.

HGHG, this is fantastic news, and I'm very happy for you!!! Both you and I want out have said similar things about thinking a few months back that w/d would keep being awful, and then came a change for the better. Thank you for letting us know!!

Thank you so much everybody! You're awesome! Withdrawal can do sommuch harme to muscles and nerves it's crazy. As some of you know, I really thought I was dying. Now that my head is back I can see things more clearly and that helps a lot. I just have minor muscle stuff going on now but it doesn't bother me. I just wanted to give some hope to all of you still struggling. Withdrawal is terrible, but you'll all heal. You will get back to yourself again. The benzo voice will disappear eventually. There is a success story called " The voice of benzo withdrawal has finally silenced". Thats what healing feels like. You'll all get there!

Wonderful news!

...out of curiosity, is anyone taking a glucosamine/chondroitin/MSM supplement for the joint issues?  I have a shoulder that feels like there's no cartilage left so I just started taking Move Free.  Hopefully, this isn't problematic.

Hope the success continues!

HGHG, this is awesome and you a so close.  I know you are  almost healed.  The torment is almost behind you.  Keep going it is almost over.  It is amazing how many fears and panic go away when clear thinking comes back.  You battled this the whole way and deserve so peace.

Thank you, I want out! It's the little click when the feelings turns back to normal again. Before it happens you feel so far away. Now I feel the way you feel after a nightmare. It's just a memory that affects the feeling now and then. That's why its so important to have people around you who tells you it's withdrawal until you understand it yourself. Thank you for telling me that over and over again!  :smitten:

Thank you, both of you! Healing is a long proses and for many months I had no improvements at all. It just got better over night. Now I can recognize the withdrawal symptoms when they come. Its suddenly so notable that the symptoms come from the CNS and it doesn't scare me anymore. So I believe that when the head is back to normal, a lot of the job is done! I hope you all heal soon!
