Clonazepam Taper and Tinnitus

Recommended Posts

My life seems to be calming down. I am sleeping better a little too well between the 1.5 mg Clonazepam at bedtime along with the 30 mg Remeron.

I tapered a couple of months ago by taking off 15 mg Remeron from my nightly once a day dose and my .5 mg Clonazepam daily dose. I didn't really understand at the time I should focus on one at a time. I was pretty miserable really depressed sinking within myself didn't care about exercising or doing anything but watching TV. I am just now recovering somewhat with my tinnitus calming down some. I tried twice to taper off Clonazepam getting to .25 mg twice but my sleep diminishing to 2 hours a night. This time, I want to be smart to go slow. Are any of the supplements a help while tapering the 10% every few weeks? I got the .5 mg tablets of Clonazepam to help with the taper so it appears my first taper would be .15 mg or a quarter of my .5mg tablets (close). My son is a diabetic and lives with me so I can use his weight measurement scale. I cant afford to lose my job as my son needs my insurance for a couple of more years as he is still in college. Any insight is welcomed regarding tinnitus flare ups or any supplement help. I guess motivation for me was when two docs solution to my depression was to add a third drug wellbutrin.

I know a great supplement !  ;D    It's called  "TAPER EVEN SLOWER"  ;)

The tinnitus is a symptom.  You know how they always say around here "LISTEN TO YOUR SYMPTOMS"??  Well???  Listen to your tinnitus.

Does your tinnitus make the 'Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh' sound?

Tinnitus is actually a tiny voice in your ear saying "ShhhhhhhhhLOW DOWN"

I learned that the hard way and now I'm on an extra super slow baclofen taper.

Listen to your tinnitus, it's trying to give you a message but your just not hearing it yet  ;)
