I know. It's just even when I look back at months I see little differences. Just convinced I'm one of the unlucky ones. Hope you're doing better groove.

Satch,

One thing at a time. Don't overwhelm yourself by thinking beyond today. I told you Seroquel and Remeron were nothing compared to a benzo for me. Please do your best to be positive (very hard, I know). YOU CAN DO THIS! I KNOW you can!

Seroquel and Remeron w/d is small potatoes compared to K w/d! You're going to be fine! And yes healing is certainly happening for you!!

Satch! You have been fighting, you will continue to fight. So on and so forth. If there is any time in your life to man up, take the bull by the horns, and ride this bitch of a roller coaster ride, its now. It sucks, I know. I'm there. I'm 4 months behind you. But posting the same thing everyday is not going to give you any relief.Accept the feelings, allow them to pass, and move on with your life. There is a reason that Dr. Ashton states that positivity and a good support system allows you to heal faster. Because its true! Look at those cancer patients that start living and miraculously are cured when they were given three months to live. Quit talking about giving up and start living the best damn possible life you can. If that means laying in bed crying your eyes out -- so be it. But feeding into the fear and negativity will only get you further and further in the hole.

Do you really not have anything to live for? Come off it! I have a life to live. A life I took advantage of until this benzo nonsense. And there is nothing in benzo hell that will prevent me from dreaming that life until this is all over. Start looking ahead. Buy a calendar. Get a big red pen and enjoy slashing out each day. Cuz guess what? You did it. And you will continue to do so until this is all over. Give yourself some credit, because you don't just endure 6 months of this shit to start losing hope now.

And you know what? Compared to most we have it easy. We get a 2nd chance. We end up right where we were pre-benzo. Only we are given a running start. An appreciation for life that  very few people get to appreciate. That, in my opinion, is worth all the suffering in the world.

Orion. I hear you. It's just my life is never going to be the same as it was pre benzo. I've lost things that ain't coming back. I agree I'll cherish life in ways I never did before but with two more tapers that's a long way off.  I agree I need to find a way to be more positive but short term use really screwed me over and sent my whole life into a tailspin that could take years to rebuild. I'm hoping your life hasn't been so effected but mine has been annihilated.
