is valium taper easier than straight klonopin

i am on 2. 5 % clonopin times 15 years. Going down at 2.5% a week i am sick all day. Is valium really milder on the withdrawl . Pleases help me.

I was on Klonopin and then switched to valium for my taper, and although I was not on the K for as long as you have been, the inter dose withdrawals I was experiencing prior to my cross over were just miserable.  The great thing about tapering from the Valium for me, is that with the long half life metabolites, the inter dose w/d was not an issue.  Ashton is true to her word on that point.

 

It is not for everyone, but I have yet to read of a member who crossed that wishes they had not.  I am sure there are, but I have not run across them.

I went ahead and decided to switch from klonopin to Valium as well.. I could already feel the missing .25 cut the next morning.. So I'm for sure looking forward to the much longer halflife.
