HI SNOWY,

ARE YOU COUNTING DOWN THE HOURS UNTIL...AS MY DAD WOULD SAY "YOU GET TO PUT ON THE FEED BAG"....LOL.  MY DAD AND HIS SAYINGS.

I HAVE TO SHARE THIS STORY WITH YOU SNOW.  MY DAD IS 87, AND THE HOSPICE NURSE CAME OVER (JUAN) HE HAS A VERY GOOD RAPPORT WITH MY DAD.

DAD ASKED HIM IF HE WANTED A CUP OF COFFEE. JUAN SAID, SURE SIR. DAD SAID HOW DO YOU LIKE IT, AND JUAN SAID BLACK.  MY DAD DID HESITATE AND SAID AAAAA HOT AND BLACK JUST HOW I LIKE MY WOMEN.

JUAN ABOUT FELL OUT....HE STARTED LAUGHING AND SAID...MR. JACKSON :)

MY DAD JUST LAUGHED.  GOTTA LOVE HIM.  HE HURTS LIKE HELL EVERYDAY, BUT HE HAS ALWAYS MANAGED TO KEEP HIS SENSE OF HUMOR.

SNOWY, I HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT DAY TOMORROW.  WEAR PANTS WITH ELASTIC..LOL.

Ins, just responding to your welcoming post -- thank you! I think the quote that's really pertinent for me right now is about whether one's mission in life is complete. On my worst days, I question things a lot, but that quote very simply puts some of those things back in the box where they have to stay. And I like the dream one too. It's nice to think that we have the power to make our dreams come true. Gotta keep dreaming!

Well, it's nice to end the evening in this cozy spot! Thanks for the good wishes, Ins! I'm doing better tonight than last night, and that's all I can ask for in this one-day-at-a-time existence that we call benzo withdrawal. After a brutal night last night, I'm feeling calmer and more relaxed (yay for physio!), so G'night All! Happy Turkey Day to my friends south of the border!
