It might give some relief, it might not. 70 days off i would try everything not to take it. That can start a bad habit and uve come so far now Brooke.

If u did take it, u wouldnt be the first to have done so....its what they call a rescue dose.

I don't understand what's happening.  I haven't had a panic attack in weeks.  My whole body feels like it's vibrating.  I forgot how bad this was....  :(  I'll try my best but i don't know...

brooke, can you breathe into a paper bag? This will keep you from hyperventilating which is causing the numbness.

Breathe deeply and slowly. Slow your thoughts down. If you have any guided meditations, try playing something gentle and soothing.

You're going to get through this. How are you feeling now?

ditto to mindseekers suggestion. You may have a panic attack in the future and need to find ways to work through them....paper bags really work!

Paper bags are better than meds, brooke. Trust me - I know this from experience!

Here's a great guided meditation to help with panic. Even if your thoughts are racing too fast for it to make sense, just keep it as background sound. Slow your breathing down. Relax your muscles. Let the thoughts pass without reacting to them. Breathe.

Thank you... I feel a little better now.  I listened to that meditation video and it calmed me down.  Along with the bag.  I need to learn coping skills so i don't keep doing this.

Thank you!!

I should be a pro by now.  But I'm not.  The last anxiety attack feels just as terrifying as the first.

I'm ok now.    Thanks guys...  :)

Yes, now is the time to learn all these coping skills.  ;)

I'm having so much success using guided meditations and mindfulness practice.

Here are a couple of great resources I've found so far on my journey:

Satsang with Mooji - videos Dozens of free guided meditations.

The Mindful Way Through Depression Also contains a CD of guided meditations which are great for anxiety, as well as depression.

It takes practice, but once you get into meditation, it's so relaxing, it's almost addicting!

I don't understand why I have anxiety every morning.  I wake up that way.  My chest is tight, I feel lightheaded and my breathing is off.  Can someone explain this?

I have this also brooke, some of it is wd, some of it is because our cortisol is so high in the morning and we feel it.

I will tell you though, my chest tightness has gone away, knock on wood. But i still have morning anxiety very bad.

Anxiety is the reason i took the K and my morning have always been hell.

It will improve as more time passes.

Thank you!  The most frustrating part is that i have no control over it.  It just happens and then it slowly goes away.  But sometimes that can take hours.

Love my life!!  grr....

No its impossible to control imo. It always goes away though that what u need to remember when its happening.

Most of us on benzos had some type of anxiety problem in the first place.
