Does anyone have any idea when ringing in ears stops? It's been there from the beginning and is still present five months in.

I'm glad you posted this. I've seen people come back after a year or more to say their tinnitus has gone away or gotten quieter.

 

At 8 mos I still have mine. When I'm tired staying up too late it's louder. I tell myself when it's gone is when I'm fully healed.

I jumped mid July.  My bells continue to ring.  i don't put much thought into it.  I have had the odd window where it totally disappears and it's really wonderful having silence.  I honestly don't worry and I try not to think of it.  But I agree with fossaah.  I will believe and think I"m totally healed once it's gone.  Crossing my fingers but truly not expecting it to happen for quite some time.
