Could Just Starting Lexapo Cause Akathisia

5 days ago started very small amt of lexapro .15mg drops.  After taking dose today got akathisia again which i haven't had for 2 or 3 months since i crossed over from ativan to klonopin and came down too much. 

 

do you think it's the lexapro?

 

since i've just been taking it 5 days and just a few drops do you think its ok just to stop it?

I was on Lexapro for 9 years and was taken off it (CTed) by another fab doctor. If I were you, I would steer clear from it, please. You do not want to deal with Lexapro w/d later on.

 

For your safety, and as low as the dose is, I would still taper. Yes, get off it but taper.

 

This is only my opinion and concern from personal experience with the drug.
