I am about to finish my taper and desperately need support. I cold turkeied Xanax, reinstated four months out on klonopin. And then I stayed on until I hit tolerance again and started tapering may 2013 and now I am about to be finished in the next couple weeks (tapering down from 1 mg now I am on .03 mg K). It's getting real....

Wow, it sure is getting real..congrats, you're almost there.  We know what a huge struggle this can be and a memorable day for all of us when we're once again benzo free.

Congratulations on your taper so far, you've done very well and should feel proud of yourself!

 

We will be happy to support you on your journey to zero and once you are benzo free if you so wish. I know that "brain dead" feeling you are experiencing, it's part and parcel of withdrawal and it will get better once you are benzo free and on the road to recovery. It does take a while to get used to navigating the forum but you will become more familiar with where everything is the more you log on. If, however, you would like assistance with anything please feel free to ask.
