Is this a window??

I had the strangest feeling today.  I felt oddly very good!  Thing is,  i still had some lingering symptoms such as head pressure and a teeny bit of internal vibrating.  But i witnessed a bit of my quick wit and actually made my brother laugh today.  Lord knows that's an impossible feat lol.  My word recall has been picking up.  Is this gradual healing or is this a window?  Thanks to all who read and reply.

Sounds like a window if it was an experience good enough to post about.

I've never once had a window where things felt "normal". Just temporary periods where symptoms subsided a bit and I actually had the ability to feel happiness instead of terror/anxiety/depression.

Tough to say - I never had windows where I was all clear of sx, just much better for a while - like I actually felt my brain change. That happened twice. My real healing started taking place around the end of August and things just started to lift. I felt better but it was quite different from the dramatic brain clearing and seemed more permanent, fortunately for me, it was. I think it's different for everyone with some similarities mixed in. Here's hoping it sticks!

Here's to hoping it sticks too!!  I had to drive to my doctors today in the country and the one lane road I was on was closed so I had to find a detour.  In an acute state I would have given up at some point and cried while panicking but i kept my composure and actually calculated what I needed to do.

i would call it a window.

i always say that i have partial windows because when i feel more normal and okay, i am still with the neuropathy symptoms but even those s/x subside a bit. but that's why i always call mine 'partial windows".

windows are simply awesome! here's hoping to many more and the one that never closes. :smitten:

I am so happy for you Castillo. That is great news. I think as a result of gradual healing that you had a window of feeling "oddly good". I remember when I had my first glimpse of almost normalcy. It felt so good. I hoping that you get more moments like that. Doesn't it feel good to make someone laugh!

It sounds like the windows I get when I do have them every once in awhile. I call them partial windows because I still have some nagging physical pain when I do get them. Congratulations, castillo!! I'm so happy that you're feeling truly alive again for however long it lasts!

Hi loving!  I am still feeling good generally!  I hit a bit of a snag last night with my sleep (thoughts of ex boyfriend) though it has always been an issue with me.  As long as i keep life calm, cool and collected i can retain this feeling.  I'm sure stress of any kind can break a person.  But i'm a-okay for now   i do have to add although my body has calmed down my brain still has to catch up.  I still feel brain foggy most times but positive news is i have had clarity of no fog anywhere from 15 min to 1 hour.  So thats a sneak peek i always welcome.

keep going!  I see your at four months!  Before u know it 6 months approaches and u have no idea where time went!
