I have been taking benzos for 12 years. I have primarily used Xanax or clonazepam. I have recently started a taper from 4mg of clonazepam per day. I am currently at 3 & 1/4MG per day. I joined mostly just to hear of other's experiences in dealing with challenges, side effects, etc.

I am so happy you found us. Congratulations on your taper do far. You have been on a large dose for many years do you will want to get off carefully.  The recommended reduction is 5 to 10 percent every two weeks. Some may need a slower taper.

 

You might like to check out The Ashton Manual it is an authoritative source on what to expect in withdrawal and recovery.  Dr. Ashton is an expert in the field.  She describes and explains withdrawal symptoms,.
