Can antibiotic eye drops with steroids cause a wave?

Hi,

I have been doing really well, with minor waves here and there...until this weekend.  I had a major wave crash over me on Friday night and again am having one right now.  Panic attacks, and the works.  I have been fighting an eye infection for a few days and finally went to the eye doctor, who prescribed drops.  The drops are the antibiotic Tobramycin and the steroid Dexamethasone.  Is it possible that eye drops could trigger such powerful waves?  My anxiety and fear have been through the roof since I started taking them.  :'(  I don't know if it is just coincidence or not.

My massive wave also coincided with fighting a head cold and my period, but it seems way too intense to be from only those.

I am almost 15 months out.

Please advise....

I definitely think that eye drops can cause a bad wave. I was given eye drops at the optometrist's office to check for glaucoma, and about two hours later I got very dizzy and felt terrible. It seemed that I was in a wave for about three weeks. Maybe that wasn't the only reason I was in a wave, but I'm sure the drops had a significant part to play. I've found that anything I put in my body - food, drink, meds - they all have a big part to play in how my CNS handles everything. I hope that your wave goes away much quicker than mine! I had only been off K for a little over two months when that happened, and I'd just come out of acute a bit earlier.
