Hello Taikamiya44,

Welcome to BenzoBuddies.

I'm sorry you're having a rough time.  Are you still taking Ativan or did your doctor prescribe you Prozac instead?  Prozac is an antidepressant medication.  This medication may help with depression, but it's very unlikely that any withdrawal symptoms related to Ativan will be helped by an antidepressant, in my opinion.

If your doctor substituted Prozac for your Ativan, this would be considered a cold turkey withdrawal if you stopped Ativan abruptly.  Benzos should be tapered rather than stopped abruptly.

Interdose withdrawal is withdrawal that occurs between doses and is often associated with a short half life benzo like Ativan.  Buddies that experience this often break up their days dose and spread it out and take it at intervals during the day to help alleviate this.

If you are still taking Ativan, we can help support you through a taper.  A good recommendation for dosage reduction is 5-10%, every 10 to 14 days.
