I am tapering from 2 mg, whichI was at just over a year ago.  I am down to .75 mg.

I am looking to find info about possible activating effects of Klonopin, particularly at specific doses  (for me anyway).

 

My tapering has not been too hard.  I might to able to offer some encouragement to others.

I am so happy you found us. It sounds like you are doing an amazing job on your taper. You will be an inspiration to our members. I think if you post your question on another board that you may get your answer in regards to Klonopin.

 

You might like to check out The Ashton Manual it is an authoritative source on what to expect in withdrawal and recovery.  Dr. Ashton is an expert in the field.  She describes and explains withdrawal symptoms.

Hi Simone,

              I just joined today and wanted to thank you for your post.  I wish I would have read about the withdrawal and did the taper.  At this point I am in day 5 cold turkey after tapering myself off in a few days.  Way to soon and have had terrible withdrawals.  I have been on the Klonopin for only 3 months so hopefully I won't suffer to much longer.  I would not recommend cold turkey as I do not like to suffer, but I am afraid if I go back on it will just make things worse.  I am trying to get through.
