Please erasure me it'll be okay

I took Ativan again today.  I'm in hospital.  I was pacing the halls for 5 hours today before I gave in.  My doctor said it's okay to take it while we are waiting for the lyrica and celexa to kick in.  It could be a month before I see any effect.  Please tell me I'm not screwed and it's okay.  I wonder what Dr. Ashton would do in my situation.

I am so sorry to hear that you are in the hospital. Typically benzodiazepines are reinstated when withdrawal symptoms are debilitating.  If you have some reading time I have provided a link to the Ashton Manual below. Professor Ashton recommends that reinstating takes place within a two week window of stopping. Reinstating comes with risks. One of them being "kindling" where each subsequent withdrawal is worse than the previous withdrawal. One can also reach tolerance, sometimes immediately, when they reinstate. There is no guarantee of a better outcome. Staying on them for a month may require another long taper. You know you best. We are here to support any decision you make.

I can't think of kindling or a long taper.  I'm gonna stay e them on a low dose and use them sparingly.  And pray there's little backlash.  I'm so against benzos but see no other way.  The Ativan is working very well right now.  I just pray I find some peace in all this hell.

I'm off seroquel but I'm just worried about the benzos.  I feel so trapped because I don't want to take benzos but I also don't want to feel anxious to the point of considering suicide.
