Elavil, amytripiline..did not sleep! This happen to you?

For 4 nights I have used 30mgs , but no sleep....I thought it would really put me out, but nothing..am I just unusual......does this happen tp anyone else

Please help. Am I crazy, I took 30 mgs now 4 nights...no sleep.....has this happened to you? I thought it would help my insomnia, but I'm lost.

Anyone else have no help from this med...elavil, amytripiline?

You already know this med did not help me sleep, from your other thread Rose.  I'm sorry it did not work for you either.

i've had a hard core case of insomnia for the last 22 days and it's never been this bad. i don't know what is happening but it did happen after i had just a tiny hit of marijuana. my brain became wired and amped and still hasn't return to normal. i will not be smoking that anymore.

 

i wasn't taking anything for sleep either but i broke down and took 1/4 elavil which did help a little although it was already 5am when i took it. but i took 1/2 elavil last night and it didn't help. so i don't know what to do now?
