Exercise!!!

Hi

Whenever I go for like an hour walk, I feel very funny after that, slightly light headed, I check my pulse it is like at 77/78.... I just get frozen on my chair afraid to even move...

When I swim for some reason doesn't happen as much.

I had done a heart work last year it was totally clear.

Of course I have just started walking recently.

Can someone please give me some reasoning behind this madness and also some reassurances as this fuels my hypochondriac mind and that freaks me out.

I just did a CBC and all was cleared and also checked my bp the other day and it was 130/80 which was fine.

Can withdrawal cause low blood sugar.

Please help me please.

Love

Bey

While I cannot give you reasons, I also had a lot of weird pulse-related stuff earlier in my withdrawal.  My pulse would spike when the easiest of work-outs (e.g. walking).  Exertion revved me up for hours - made my hyper in a weird way.  And it adversely affected my sleep.  I exercised anyway although I slowed down a bit.  All of that heart-related stuff is fine now for me, but it took several months to work itself out.

Be sure to breath deeply and regularly when you exercise.  I found that I often held my breath when I started which must have contributed to weird pulse stuff.

I dont know if this is what you are talking about but anytime i go outside and walk any distance i not only feel strange..i feel out of it..the foggy brain gets worse..i get a cold sweat and then i get nervous and stop cause i feel like my heart is racing even if its not..i feel disoriented sometimes also..so alot of times i just avoid the walks and i am trying to find other ways to exercise so to avoid these feelings cause they are scary..and all my blood work and b/p everything is fine..i have been like this for years as i have been on k for 28 yrs so have been in withdrawals for many years. thanks for asking this as i would also like to know if these feelings are from the benzos..

Hi

Thanks for that, I don't get real palpitation but this light headed ness just freaks me out....I wonder if the mind can create aches and pains in the body...I am so fed up...

Hope it gets better for us.

Hi

Did you write this post or did I, it is so similar to the way I feel.
