The is your only friend. There is no other way besides maybe talking to god a long the way. After you knock down a series of months say 5 months you will feel a lot better probably whether it stays that way is a mystery because some people get slammed all the time after continual progress.

Hi dolphins

Sometimes we can't navigate our way out. We just muddle through each day trying to do things to pass the time because it is better than doing nothing. We may get little moments of pleasure but usually they pass quickly.

It is only when it is past and we look back and wonder how we got better. We may have some idea of what happened but a lot remains a mystery.

Perhaps accepting that you can't think your way out of everything might help.

Grief is a bit the same. You have to go through it.

You seem to be forever seeking a way out. Perhaps the way will be found but only by the passing of each day will it evolve and take shape.

Sometimes it is very hard to accept our lack of control over things. Not just in benzo withdrawal but in life generally.

Try to stop looking for a while.

Sounds daft when you see my username. >:(

As I've read on here before, the only way out is through. Through the pain and misery, through the waves and windows (when the windows finally come), through the intrusive thoughts, anxiety, and depression. It's really, really rough, no two ways about it. There's nothing that's going to magically take it all away except time. You're already two months out. Just get through next month and see how you feel. At some point you're going to start entering a new phase of w/d that won't be as acute as what you're going through now. I know, it's unbelievable what we all have to go through. I never could have imagined it myself. I think of all the people on BB and how much everyone suffers. It doesn't seem fair at all. But you WILL get through this, Dolphins!
