Accidentally took a double dose. . . Am I screwed?

This post is more out of anxiety more than anything. Basically I am down to 6.5mg Valium in the following doses

 

Dose 1) 2mg

 

Dose 2) 2mg

 

Dose 3) 2.5mg

 

I was/am planning on dropping my third dose to 2.0mg sometime within the next few days; but last night I had mistakenly taken my second dose twice, so last night's total dose was 8.5mg rather than 6.5mg - Is this going to effect the cut I'm about to make? This is the first time I have made such a mistake, but I have heard of people taking "rescue" doses etc. and being fine. I've also heard it's more problematic to miss a dose than it is to dose twice accidentally.

Hahaha, no you are not screwed man. You're fine, people have done much worse than what you have done and come out fine. There are people STRUGGLING on doses HIGHER than you. You should relax, you have it relatively easy, at least you can taper. Some people were forced to cold turkey by people whom they trusted to help with their anxiety. Ironic isn't it?

What's done is done. I wouldn't worry about it a bit. You are not the first person this has happened to. it will be ok.
