Hi!

I am officially done with the K. I had gone through a period of dry mouth and itching (with a cut) but that's pretty much gone. I have a little itching in my stomach area but nothing too annoying. The transition has been fairly smooth thus far and I hope it continues...

I've been so worried about going off of this that I stayed on it longer than necessary. This morning I saw the national news, which did a report on how long term use (more than 3 months) of benzos is linked to Alzheimer's. The Doc that reported on it said that there is a link - not to be confused with causation. Still - it really bothers me that I was on it for a year.  >:(

Hi, i wouldn't worry too much about Alzheimer, it will only give you stress

which should be avoided . you are off for over 2 weeks now, which is important.

Let the healing continue , eat healthy food and avoid alcohol.

There are a lot of people who suffer from Alzheimer and have never taken a Benzo

in all their life. You will be ok, i am sure. :)

I'm wondering if these studies are skewed because of a misunderstanding of the symptoms benzos cause, which can mimic dementia.

Don't worry about these stories. Congratulations on being off K!!
