Today i had my first dream after one hole YEAR with no dreams at all!!! :D :D

I became very happy for this little thing, i´ve read somewhere that was a sign of healling.  It felt like healling to me, am i right?  Same feeling about my constant yowning during the day.  Am i healling?

Today is my 37th day without Klonopin, eventhough i´m on Zolpidem for sleeping.

21 years alcohol free

Bromazepam occasionally among the last 10 years for insomnya, never felt w/d at quitting

0.5 Clonazepan 3 times a week since SEPTEMBER 2013 for insomnya

CT Clonazepan on AUGUST 4 2014, have lots of symptoms, felt like hell, still feeling lots of creapy things (neuro symptoms), very frightened

Currently taking 5mg/10 mg of Zolpidem (also since SEPTEMBER 13), very afraid of quitting this one and going very sick

Yes, dreams are a sign of healing.  Sometimes the dreams can be very vivid, and seem so real that one thinks they are real.  This is one way the brain repairs itself...

Is it weird I feel more normal and alive in my dreams than in real life? In my dream last night, I was driving around and blasting music (something I loved before all this happened).

Hi Luigi and Megan,

thank you for answering!

Luigi, impressive story about an aminoacid causing all the damage you told, and congratulations your 1 month and 6 days off!

I´m off Klonopin for 38 days, so we are like brothers, although i´m still on zolpidem...

Megan, i hope not to feel more real on my dream, since i have dreamed with my mother in law, lolol...  (sorry for the silly joke).

Buddies, i´m brasilian, so if my english is bad give me a break, ok!

Laura...that IS good news! Your mention of yawning reminded me of my recent " return of the yawn" moment.  I was walking my dog and started yawning....it felt foreign. I realized I have not been yawning at all! It felt good to have this very normal action return. I do think it is a sign of healing. Yawning and dreaming....we are healing!

Warmly,

Carita

How interesting! This is the first time Ive seen lack of yawning mentioned as a symptom. I didn't yawn for well over a year, and when I started again, a couple months ago, it felt very strange. Now, I LIKE yawning, because of how relaxed I feel afterwards.

I didn't dream for well over a year, either...of course, I didn't sleep much! Hard to dream if youre not asleep. I still don't dream much but at least its started again.

It boggles the mind how many things benzos can cause.

OK buddy, we'll give you a break. LOL! :smitten: But for the record, Yowning is spelled yawning. And insmonya is spelled insomnia.  But I don't know how to spell them in Portuguese. So you are one step better than me. How about this: Bocejar e insonia? Cheers.

It's amazing how those little pills change your life.  I remember my first vivid dreams after jumping off Ativan.  Some were unpleasant, but at least they were dreams.  I'm happy for you to have begun dreaming again.  Definitely a return to normalcy.  May all your dreams be sweet ones.

Sorry, I don't mean to hijack your thread, but does the same apply while one is tapering?

Does having dreams during a taper mean that one is healing?

I started having dreams a while ago. I also have most of my cog fog reduced. I also have had my emotions return. If that's not healing, than I don't know what it is. It is not a window, as I have been this way for quite a few months. ~~ Bets

I´m feeling like a superstar here!  Lololol, so many buddies giving me their thoughs!

Carita, i hope i'm healling, and so are you!  I still lack confidence for myself, because of the waves.  When i posted this i was feeling positive, i was so happy with my dream...  But then, along the day, other symptoms hit me and well...  I only feel good coming here and reading your posts.

All of you, Carita, yawning Benzogirl (lolol), badsocref and the others that talked to me on this post are very important to me.  I whish i could say my real name, e call you by your names too, since i´m becaming your friend...  (But i know this is impossible and i respect that.)

And Disney Girl, c´mon, be my guest!

Good night buddies!

Dear dear Bets,

i was actually MOVED by your portuguese sentence, so so so quilt!  Yes, it is "bocejar" and the sentence is perfect.

This in here, maybe someone doesn´t remember, but we are all REAL PERSONS here!  This is amazing for me.  You are not only some sentences in the forum, you are real people and you are helping me with real problems FOR FREE.  This is the miracle of life:  people do have love to give.

Today hands are not shaking, i came from yoga class, been abble to meditate for like 5 minutes (this shows improvement for me).  I dreamed again this night.  Tinitus, i think, is getting better.

Disney Girl, like button check!

You guys have the best day ever.  I´ll try to come to this forum at work.  Thanks again!
