Seeking reassurance this will pass

Hi, I have written in the past about what I have been experiencing. I guess I am looking for some reassurance these symptoms will pass. To be honest, I am frustrated and feel I may live with these symptoms the rest of my life. I stopped taking prescribed Xanax in Feb. of this year. From that point to today, I  still experience muscle twitching/jerks, ringing/humming sound in head, warm anxious feeling in lower abdomen especially in morning, sweating under arms, anxious bowels, tiredness, depression, among other crazy crap.  These are debilitating and I have no zest to do much. All I want to do is sleep. I have had depression and fatigue in the past, but I have never had any of these symptoms until I stopped the Xanax. I know if I took Xanax right now, these things would go away. But, I do not want to start over again. Sometimes I just want relief. Maybe I am just venting. I don't know. Mark

Yep, these are all benzo withdrawals. Really sorry you're suffering so much.

 

If you set up a signature listing the benzo, dose you took, and when you came off, folks will be able to help you.

Hang in there bud I am a month behind you and have had a flare up due to sinus issues and congestion. We shall beat this man keep your head up!
